Each weekend, Guests to the Park can receive a free character poster while supplies last. Weekend I featured Yoda and Weekend II Boba Fett. In addition to the free collectibles, visitors can purchase souvenirs and other merchandise at Darth’s Mall and other stops nearby.
During Star Wars Weekends, Guests encounter other-worldly experiences they could otherwise see only on-screen or in their dreams! The event features the largest collection of official Star Wars characters found at any theme park in the world, speaking engagements with Star Wars celebrities, a Star Wars motorcade parade through the park, and much more. Not only do characters walk the park and offer photo ops, but Guests are also allowed and encouraged to dress the part of their favorite Star Wars personages.

Be sure to check the Star Wars Weekends home page to find the latest character appearance and celebrity speaker information, as well as how to book a Star Wars character dining experience!
Today’s Takeaway:
Build a simple toy light saber for your young Padawan! All you need is a tube of foam insulation (a pool noodle also works) and a piece of PVC pipe with a large enough diameter to hold it. You may also want some duct tape to secure the two. Just follow the instructions from these two adorable little Jedi in the Youtube video below, and may the Force be with you!
