Disneyland Resort Paris is still celebrating their 20th anniversary year, and to plus that, the seasonal sparkle of the holiday season adds Christmassy delight until January 6, 2013! In this very merry magic land, REAL snow falls (however, not usually on cue), pixie-dusting Main Street, U.S.A., Toy Story Land, and Sleeping Beauty Castle itself.

Character-shaped snowmen props and Christmassy-costumed Disney pals appear throughout both Parks, where wreaths, garland, and one of the biggest Christmas trees in the world bring extra magic to Guests of all ages.
And of course, a holiday at any Disney Park would be incomplete without a grand parade. At the end of a festive day, Disneyland Paris’ Christmas Cavalcade brings sweet holiday dreams to a long winter’s nap.

Today’s Takeaway:
Today’s Christmas Eve, and it’s likely that nobody reading this post is doing any schoolwork at all, so today’s assignment is just for fun! Gather all the kids together—all the visiting cousins, the neighbors, besties, etc.—and put on a holiday parade! Let them pick through your old clothes, boots, coats, whatever will work for costumes. Offer play makeup if you have any handy. Suggest they tape cardboard or construction paper to skateboards or scooters to create floats. Decorate with streamers, glitter, paint, and more.
When everything’s ready, have parents, grandparents, neighbors, and whoever else needs some entertainment, line the sidewalks, blast Christmas music from your mp3 (attached to speakers, of course), and let the kids march their parade down your street.
SCHOOL SUBJECT: Fun!
SKILL LEVEL: All
Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season from your friends at Magical Mouse Schoolhouse!
