Check out this BEAUTY AND THE BEAST faux stained glass Enchanted Rose art my daughter created using the tutorial by Bethany at Reality Daydream!
Disney’s live-action hit, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, released to DVD and Blu-ray this week, once again reviving the enchantment of this timeless tale. We here at Magical Mouse Schoolhouse are big fans of both the original 1991 animation (and its direct-to-video sequels and spinoffs) and the live-action reproduction. In fact, Belle is my very favorite Disney princess! I mean, can’t you relate to a bibliophile who longs for more than the simple provincial life?
Well, in anticipation of the video release, we stumbled across a really cool website called Reality Daydream. Bethany, who runs the site, is super creative and very talented! My daughter also loves to create pretty things, so when we discovered Bethany’s faux stained glass BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Rose art, we rushed to the craft store to gather supplies! You really need just a few items, including a picture frame, paint, the enchanted rose printable, ModPodge, a glue gun, and something called Unicorn Spit. (We couldn’t find Unicorn Spit, so we did without, and it turned out beautiful.) Anyway, hop over to Reality Daydream to view Bethany’s complete tutorial, and if you create a stained glass image yourself, be sure to stop by and let her know how it turned out!
