Wilderness Explorers 1024x816 Tiggerific Tuesday #DisneyTrivia: Animal Kingdom Wilderness Explorers

Did YOU know this week’s Tiggerific Tuesday #DisneyTrivia from Animal Kingdom Wilderness Explorers?

I spent much of today wandering Disney’s Animal Kingdom helping my kids earn their Wildnerness Explorer badges. Boy, did we learn a lot! Do you know the difference between a turtle and a tortoise? Turtles have webbed feet and spend more time in water, while tortoises have clawed feet, like to dig, and spend more time on land. Do you know how to tell a monkey from an ape? Monkeys have tails; apes don’t! Do you know how many islands make up the nation of Indonesia? At last count, the nation holds the record at 17,105! (But that’s apt to change at any moment, as they are also the nation with the most active volcanoes!)

I have wanted to do the Wilderness Explorers but not sure if adults can play. It looks like a lot of fun from what I have seen. Sounds like you have learned quite a bit, what a great homeschooling activity :)

Adults CAN do the program! My 20-year-old did it along with my 7-year-old in December.

We love this program! So educational and fun! Ian completed his book in 2 days on our last trip.

It was funny, because at first the kids were complaining that it wasn’t that exciting to go to Disney now that we go all the time (boo-hoo, right?). But by the end of the day, they said they had the best time they’d ever had at Animal Kingdom!
