Welcome to the first stop aboard Magical Blogorail Yellow. Enjoy the ride as we share how we add a little Disney to our holiday celebrations.
Welcome aboard! My family recently moved into a new home. While we are far from being settled in, we made sure to clear space for our Christmas tree. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and we have three kids, so we have collected quite an assortment of ornaments over the years. It seems, though, that Disney-themed ones are starting to take over the tree!
Here are some of the newest additions. I really like these new Vinylmations. The colors and designs just grab my eye. They’re so fun and festive. The Peter Pan and Wendy one is for my son who hopes to become “friends with” Peter Pan at Walt Disney World someday soon, and the gold ears hat commemorates last year’s 40th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. It’s hard to tell in this picture, but it says 1971 on the ears and is signed and numbered on the bottom.
Here are a few others we enjoy. My daughter carefully places the princess one on the tree each year in a prominent place where everyone will see it. The Minnie Mouse is a new fun one, just to have a classic character on the tree, and the peppermint twist 3-circle Mickey glass ornament is one of my personal favorites. We also have a Perry the Platypus, a Minnie glass ornament, ceramic photo ornaments made from PhotoPass pictures, and many more that are not pictured.
What do you do to incorporate your #DisneySide into holiday decorations?
Trim the tree with some homemade holiday ornaments like these from Disney’s Spoonful!
