Flights of Wonder is a 25-minute live show presented in Animal Kingdom’s Asia section. Some very unique Cast Members of the stars of this show. While the cast changes periodically, here are some of the regular performers:
- Abyssinian Ground Hornbill
- American Bald Eagle
- Augur Buzzard
- Barbary Falcon
- Eurasian Eagle Owl
- Gray-Crowned Crane
- Harris Hawk
- Ibis
- Indian Runner Ducks
- Macaw
- Pigeon
- Seriema
- Toco Toucan
- Yellow-naped Amazon Parrot
That’s right! Birds take center stage here. Of course, they’re assisted by a couple humans, tour guide Guano Joe and his partner Luke (a bird handler-in-training), who pair up for some silly antics and many amazing demonstrations.
The show is performed in a canvas-canopied, open-air theater, where, in response to Joe’s and Luke’s cues, the birds hunt, sing, soar and sometimes swoop just over your head! Check the Times Guide for show times.
