O ur friend Sierra H., who, by the way, is an Earn Your E.A.R.S. participant, sent in some fabulous photos of Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival! The event wraps up later this month, so we thought we’d share a slideshow of the glorious spring bling adorning the Park. Enjoy!
Today’s Takeaway:
During the Flower & Garden Festival, Epcot features a butterfly garden (as seen in the slideshow above). If possible, order a butterfly larvae kit such as the ones offered from Educational Science Online Science & Nature Store (priced at $11 and up) or from other vendors and grow your own butterfly from egg to hatchling to pupa to butterfly!
If you are not able to purchase a kit, plan to visit a local butterfuly garden at your nearby botanical center or zoo.
