Magical Blogorail

Welcome to those of you joining me from DELIGHTFULLY DISNEY and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the Final stop on our Magical Blogorail.

Welcome aboard Magical Blogorail Yellow! This month we are doubling as the Polar Express to deliver the magic of the perfect Disney Christmas gift.

Imagine if resources were unlimited, money no obstacle and travel no issue. If I could have any Disney gift I wished, I would want a lifetime pass to the Walt Disney World Resort Parks for me and all my family members and friends! That would, of course, include free Disney dining with no restrictions and complimentary lodging at the Resort hotel of our choice along with transportation to and from the World from anywhere in the world.

The party would begin with an overnight stay on Christmas Eve at the Walt Disney Suite inside Cinderella Castle and a private celebration at Cinderella’s Royal Table with all our favorite Characters—the real ones—including Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and all the elves. We’d take turns delivering Christmas joy to all the good boys and girls with Santa in his sleigh, and afterward we’d ride every attraction in each of the Parks. Santa wouldn’t have to wish a good night to all. That wish would already be granted!

Today’s Takeaway:
Wouldn’t that be a dream come true? While we may not be able to achieve that reality, we can help others in need have what may otherwise be a very un-merry Christmas this year. Take a look below at some organizations that provide relief to the needy. Choose at least one and donate your time and/or resources to bring joy—and quite possibly the perfect Disney Christmas gift—to some very special boys and girls this year. If possible, don’t just mail a check. Read through the requests lists and see what items or services are needed. Take the time to make it personal, and fill those needs.

Toys for Tots
Give Kids the World
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Angel Tree
Samaritan’s Purse
The American Cancer Society
The American Lung Association
The American Heart Association
The Salvation Army
The American Red Cross
The Samaritan Inn
Feed the Children
St. Jude Children's Hospital
Compassion International
World Vision
Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA)

These were just the first few I could think of. If you know of others, feel free to leave us a comment below!

Jodi, I like the way you think!! Thanks for including your friends! :) I agree, this is the perfect time of year to teach our children "it is better to give than to receive."
