Stitch Live! at Disneyland Resort Paris

Stitch Live Disneyland Paris
Cowabunga! Visit Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Resort Paris for an out-of-this-world interactive attraction with that mischievous little alien, Stitch, from the 2001 hit Lilo & Stitch.

Stitch Live! opened in 2008 as an extended part of Disneyland Resort Paris’ 15th anniversary. This 15-minute live show features an animated screen projection that talks to and banters with unsuspecting audience participants. It originated at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2004 and is similar to Turtle Talk with Crush at Disney California Adventure, Tokyo DisneySea, and Walt Disney World’s Epcot.

Utilizing real-time computer animation technology to bring the Master of Mischief to life, Stitch’s alien encounter is a potential “chat-tastrophe” of galactic proportions which is sure to generate smiles only Disney magic can achieve.

Today’s Takeaway:
I cannot reveal the Imagineering techniques behind Stitch Live! For one thing, I don’t know exactly how they do it, and for another, even if I did know the trick, I wouldn’t want to spoil the magic for you. Shows like Stitch Live! and Turtle Talk with Crush remind me of a skilled ventriloquist. Except in this case, we do not see the puppeteer. So I thought it would be fun for Today’s Takeaway to be a lesson in ventriloquism performance.

Check out the Youtube tutorials below. (If you click to view it on Youtube, you will see Expert Village has a whole instructional series featuring this same hostess.) Then, select your favorite plush Mickey or other stuffed animal and practice put on a show for your family and friends.
